Fireplace Draft Reduction

The Fireplace Draft Reduction cowl, called the Chimney Control, only works with an open fire. It fits chimney pots with an 8-inch internal diameter and uses high grade stainless steel with a stainless steel spring.

This chimney cowl helps a fireplace burn slower and reduces heat loss when closed. It also helps stop wind, rain, and chimney noise. Do not use it with a stove or insert stove. Install a carbon monoxide alarm with this product.

The Chimney Control will also help with the following;

• Will stop noise coming down the chimney (when closed)
• Will stop wind & rain entering you chimney (when closed)
• Will prevent heat loss up the chimney (when closed). It is a money saving device.
